Avoiding Personal Pronouns:
in my past writings i've used the pronoun 'our' when i should have used a different word or rephrased the sentence. using a better personal pronoun would make my writing alot better. i used http://www.buzzin.net/english/pronouns.htm to help me out.

Quotation Marks:
using direct and indirect quotation marks is kinda confusing when it comes to writing it in paragraphs. so ive found a way to use them correctly. i do not need to use a quotation mark when its an original peice. in direct quotation marks is when im not quoting a phrase directly. i can just sum up a sentence or two and add the quotation marks.

2 ways a woman can get hurt
i find this kilbourne peice rather facinating and very interesting. some ads today seem very pointless while they are degrading women. such as the cologne/perfume ads in magazines such as Vogue and Elle. i mean come on the ad about the shaving cream...thats ridiculous! "2 ways a woman can get hurt---> heartbreaker or razor." ads so mistreat women in their scene in the magazines. how a man can look like hes ripping off her clothes to where shes trying to say "no" but looks like shes laughing away. the only sentence that really caught my attention and i think it applies to all men today is the sentence on page 423 first paragraph "..he can respond to the scent like any other animal" nowdays it seems like a man can stop at nothing to try to get what he wants which is ridiculous.

Killa Culture
reading this peice from david kepalian made me think about how the world is turning out now days. a lot of the topics being issued is very difficult to read. what people do for attention and what makes them feel good is ridiculous. i do have to admit that kepalian does a really good job on nailing a lot of strong influences thats chaning the american society. from rapper lyrics to splitting your tongue america is rapidly being changed by a common force... the human race. the more i read the more i wanted to know how he was goin to end it. its crazy to know that this issue of among americans is so bad that someone has written an essay about it. no matter how bad the american society gets there no one to blame but ourselves. we made this happen and its growing and who knows when it'll all come to a scretching halt.

"What we miss most about the 1950's": A Blog
Hmmm... what do we miss most about the 1950's? From my reading it seems like no one misses the 1950 unless your marraige and home life was great. But for the others who did not have much and who did not succeed at a marraige.. they did not miss it. I know a lot has went on about how our life formed from the many people before this generation. The writing seems like it was a little too much to reveal. To make people think more about how life was grand on shows like Leave it to Beaver, I love Lucy and Father Knows Best... would probably make them miss those days. But those days were not even like that. There was a huge constant struggle among the American society. Also this writing does not compare how the African Americans, Hispanics and Navtive Americans lived life. In my opinion that's one thing most people skip writing about. Life wasnt too grand for familes who suffered in the segregation. Homeless kids did not come running to the dinner table in the evening or did not get to wash the family car on Sunday afternoons.

Autumn:In Vivid Color
Hello all who are reading this. Im not much of a blog writer. Most of today's modern social networks bug me. There's a lot of things I have found interesting about myself. I like being outside and keeping myself busy. If I'm not busy that means to me that I'm being lazy. Although there are days that I can be lazy.
I like to read but I havent been reading lately. The last book I've read was The Road by Cormac McCarthy~~~ it was a ver y moving book and I'd like to read it again. I love to watch movies... all movies: scary, funny, stupid, boring, romantic, twisted, crazy and tons of action! Just to list a few I like Evil Dead, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, all three of Lord of The Rings, Snatch and all the X-Men (I am a Marvel fan) movies.
I love to run, i like some sports, rock climbing, riding Honda dirt bikes and Polaris ATV's.
I love to camp in the summer.. it gives me an excuse to eat all the marshmellows I want.
Music is something I like to surround myself with. I love listening to all kinds of music. To list a few I like Norma Jean, 10 Years, Chris Isaak, Death From Above and many many many more!
I love tattoos also. I got my 3rd tattoo this past January and I plan on getting more when I can.
I think about things that don't matter and I don't think about things that matter...
I am originally from Arizona. I moved here my high school years so I graduated from Dixie High in '06. I moved to Arizona after I graduated. I lived in New Mexico for about a year.. atteded UNM and found it rather boring so I moved back here and decided to start all over.
I guess that pretty much sums up who I am and what I love
